About Us
We have been in the building trades for years. While remodeling homes and flipping
them, or doing design work for others, it was always on the side from our normal
duties. We chose to start a company that did the very thing that we love to do. We
enjoy seeing our creations come to life and take great pride in our homes.
In the past we purchased older homes and totally remodel them. We would put in new
hardwood floors, tile floors in areas, granite tile counter tops, new fixtures and sinks,
replace windows and doors if needed, new sheet rock if needed, remove popcorn
ceilings, plumbing, move walls, paint inside and out, new roof, new siding, landscaping
and much more. We are able to do all this ourselves. We then would resell the home.
It maybe an older home but is now a new home.
We also did residential home plans for others. We draw up full sets of plans ready to
take to your local Building Department. We have laser survey equipment and can
design a home even on a grade. We specialize in Craftsman, Tuscan, Cottage,
Country and South West stile homes. Along with home designs we also can do
landscaping design and 3D rendering of the home and landscaping. This way you can
see the home before you build it.
Not only can we design your home we can build or remodel your home from the
ground up. We are fully licenced, insured and bonded. As you can see we are fully
rounded in our skills and knowledge and can help you through the complete building
process.

Background
* Randy was a fourth generation Timber Faller and naturally entered into this field.
After 18 years of steep ground and injuries he was forced to give up logging. He was
given a settlement for his injuries and used the money to go back to college. He took
up Auto Cad drafting. With this knowledge he entered into the window and door
industry. He went to work in the R & D department and designed window systems for
many high profile clients. He even made it into the Blue Book for who's who in the
expert fields. All this time he was both, buying homes and remodeling them, while
doing CAD work on the side.
Afterwards Randy went on to work as a Representative for one of the largest Window
& Door companies in the United States. All the time working on high end homes
helping them with their window and door needs. This included doing design work to
make the systems work. In this time frame he still purchased other homes and
remodeled them in his spare time. After the buy out of the company Randy worked
for, they chose to start DeMaris Restoration & Design, LLC.
* Muriel owned and operated Primrose Salon. Many of her clients would travel from
all over the United States just to have Muriel do their hair. While running a beauty
salon she bought bare land and orchestrated the building of many new homes. With
her eye for detail and knowledge of what would sell and what wouldn't, she did very
well. Always building bigger and better homes over the years. After her marriage to
Randy they bought a fixer upper at the Country Club. Between the two of them they
remodeled this home from top to bottom, adding many new features. When it came
time to sell the home they did very well. At this time Muriel chose to become a
Partner in DeMaris Restoration & Design, LLC due to her love of building.
